Meet & Join the Team

Ade Olalekan Business Owner – Houston TX

About Me:

After working at The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) for more than 15 years, I gained valuable skills and knowledge, such as Practical Design, by collaborating with people of different ethnicities in a team setting.

During my time at MoDOT, I volunteered for two years as a training officer for the U.S. NAVAL SEA CADETS CORP (USNSCC). During this period, I had the privilege of working with a diverse group of individuals, including military veterans and children of all ages.

My involvement with USNSCC eventually led me to become a member of Keep Hope Alive USA. The organization's mission to help neglected and abused children in the foster care system, as well as other vulnerable individuals in our community, presented an opportunity for me to lead and support our future by making a difference in someone's life. I joined with the hope of contributing to this noble cause.

About Me:

Since 2009, I have been employed at the End of the Rainbow Center, where I find immense joy in providing care, compassion, and education to children of all ages - not just for today, but also for the future.

As a result of my time at the center, I became a foster care parent for more than two years. This experience has given me a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by children in foster care, as well as the parents and social services agencies that coordinate and assist foster care parents.

When I learned about Keep Hope Alive USA, I was enlightened by the idea that this organization would provide resources, financial assistance, voluntary aid, promote awareness, and offer mental health assistance to the vulnerable individuals and foster care families across the United States. This noble mission was something that I was eager to be a part of.

About Me:

Having worked as a team leader at Walgreens for over ten years, I acquired valuable skills in managing and coordinating diverse teams. This experience presented me with an opportunity to oversee D-TAP Drug testing, which provided me with an eye-opening understanding of the critical issue of addiction and substance abuse in our community.

Through my work at D-TAP Drug Testing, I had the privilege of collaborating with various agencies, including the Department of Social Services, to manage cases within the foster care system in Missouri for nearly a decade. This experience gave me a firsthand understanding of the challenges that foster care children, and their families face daily.

When I learned about the Keep Hope Alive USA organization, I was excited about the prospect of joining their mission to provide support and assistance to vulnerable individuals, particularly foster care families. Their focus on care, compassion, and giving resonated with me, and I am eager to contribute in any way I can to help find solutions for our children. I believe that this is a community journey, and I am thrilled to be a part of it
