Clothing Procurement Program

Program Goal/Vision:

The goal of this program is to connect those needing clothing with state programs where there are vouchers, such as DSS/DFS and their voucher and account programs at places like Kohls. The goal is to provide additional resources to those needing clothing as the price of clothing continues to climb the voucher and account programs created by the state no longer cover all the necessities that a child has throughout the year, not only as the seasons change but as they outgrow their current clothing. The goal is to provide a service based on need, this means need must be verified, when need is verified, there are different brackets of need that someone who needs clothing procurement falls in.

Who is this aimed to help:

This program is intended to help provide mental health resources to foster children, their families, social workers within the foster care community and system, along with anyone else who works within the foster care community. This also means biological families of foster children and their foster families.

How do we Verify Need:

All our programs will have a “Verification of Need” Form, specific to the program that is being requested for assistance.
