Parent Challenges:
KHA USA is committed to empowering the youth to become exceptional citizens in the community, recognizing that single parents, especially moms and dads, face significant challenges in raising their children alone, which can often involve several children. The pressure can be overwhelming and may result in mental health issues, alcohol, and substance abuse.
Children & Youth Challenges:
KHA USA invests in children to develop them into responsible members of society. Young people face a range of daily challenges, such as peer pressure, neglect, abuse, physical violence, environmental pressures, economic constraints, racism, discrimination, a sense of belonging, financial instability, bereavement, and health issues, among others.
Society Challenges:
Adolescents may become vulnerable to mental health problems, depending on their age, which can lead to violence, alcohol, and substance abuse.
Solution:
KHA USA will partner with the Department of Social Service Children Division and other children and youth organizations to reduce the number of neglected and abused children in the community.
We can help children and parents in need of transportation, educational materials, companionship, food, clothing, housing, and mental health assistance through the financial and gift donations we receive. Our belief is that helping one person is equivalent to assisting a million people.
